Research in Nanotechnology, Materials & Devices

We are a research team devoted the application of materials nanoscience to cleantechnology, energy storage and power conversion. Our research interests include capacitors, gate dielectrics and batteries. We have expertise in nanomaterials synthesis, properties and structural characterization. We prepare electronic devices from nanomaterials for performance testing. Our focus is on chemical solution processing techniques and self-assembly, which can lead to printed or spin coated films, and polymer-nanoparticle composites. We are engaged in nanoparticle synthesis and self-assembly into superlattices, transition metal oxide nanomaterials, high k dielectrics/memory materials. Our goals relate to the investigation, development and applications of nanoscale materials for multiferroics, photonics, catalysis and biomedicine.
