Natalie Boykoff graduated from NYU with a B.Sc in Chemistry in 2018. She is currently a PhD Candidate at the CUNY Graduate Center, completing her PhD in Chemistry with a specialization in Nanotechnology. Her research involves synthesis and characterization of nanocrystals for radiopharmaceutical applications. To accomplish her research goals, she is working in Jan Grimm’s lab at Memorial Sloan Kettering to design innovative materials as contrast agents for multimodal imaging using Cerenkov Luminescence and PET. In addition, she is designing nanocrystals to sequester radionuclide daughters for more efficient Targeted Alpha Therapy. Natalie is a CREST IDEALS fellow and an adjunct lecturer teaching General Chemistry II at City College of New York. Away from research, Natalie enjoys traveling, writing, snowboarding, and learning about nutrition.
